At Women of Efficacy, we stand with survivors. Domestic violence and sexual assault are more than personal tragedies—they are public health crises that disproportionately impact women and girls, often leaving deep emotional, physical, and economic scars. Survivors face not only trauma, but also judgment, isolation, and limited access to the resources they need to heal and rebuild.

That’s why advocacy for DV and SA survivors is at the heart of what we do.

The Reality for Too Many Women

· 1 in 3 women in the U.S. has experienced physical violence by an intimate partner.

· 1 in 5 women has survived rape or attempted rape in her lifetime.

· Survivors are more likely to experience homelessness, mental health struggles, financial hardship, and social isolation.

Our mentorship program provides survivors with a safe, trauma-informed space to heal, grow, and rebuild trust. Many of our mentees have experienced violence or abuse, and we walk with them every step of the way.

We help survivors access:

· Safe housing and shelter referrals

· Legal support and protective services

· Counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention

· Financial and educational resources to regain independence

We work to destigmatize DV and SA by:

· Raising awareness in schools and communities

· Providing education on consent, boundaries, and healthy relationships

· Giving survivors the confidence to use their voice and tell their story—on their terms

Healing takes community. Women of Efficacy connects survivors with mentors, peers, and advocates who understand their journey and believe in their future. We make sure every woman and girl knows: You are not alone. You are not to blame. You are worthy of safety and joy.

Your Role in the Mission

· Offer scholarships and career support to help survivors rebuild

· Advocate for systemic change to protect and uplift women and girls
